Vanuatu chasing the Chinese tourist dollar

In other tourist destinations around the region, the Chinese have become a significant sector of their market - an attractive target not only for the increased numbers, but also due to the fact the country's main holiday dates don't clash with other major markets like Australia and New Zealand.

Blandine Cressard is the general manager of the Le Lagon resort in Port Vila, one of the country's largest. She told Pacific correspondent Campbell Cooney the number of Chinese tourists is minimal at the moment.
